Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Auxiliary is dedicated to the support and promotion of the mission of the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Sacramento, and the spiritual growth of our members and the people of the Diocese of Sacramento. Under the mantle of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, we come together as Catholics joined by our common desire to grow closer to Christ Jesus through prayer, fellowship, and service.
Help support our Carmelite Nuns by attending our Carmelite Fundraiser Dinner in celebration of Our Lady of America and the 250th Anniversary of the Birth of our Nation! This event includes a delicious dinner of Tri-tip,* corn on the cob, coleslaw, baked beans, and dessert. Plus, amazing raffle prizes, and a Silent Auction. Information about the Monastery, the nuns’ lives, and the work of the Auxiliary is shared. This is a really fun event, with great food, great prizes, wine available for purchase, and an informative slide show. Be sure to wear your RED, WHITE, and BLUE!!
